What categories of personal data are processed, for what purposes?
We collect and process personal data that is directly provided by you.
In order to subscribe to communication from Hyundai your registration by means of filling in the data collection form is required. This necessarily involves the processing of the following personal data:
· First and last name
· E-mail address
· Postcode
· Phone number (optional)
· Country of residence
The processing of your personal data serves the purpose to subscribe you to marketing communication from Hyundai. Should you consent to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes, we will process your data provided to us for marketing purposes including direct marketing and newsletters.
As the organizer of the event, we collect photos and videos at the event that may show your person, for the following purposes:
· when you have voluntarily requested for it;
· for our own editorial purposes or internal report use;
With whom is my personal data shared? As part of the collection of your data and the appropriate forwarding of such to our local markets, your personal data may be transferred. With those contractors or partners we concluded the necessary data protection contracts and ensure that your data is only processed for the purposes for which you have given consent or in accordance with applicable legal bases. The categories of recipients are specifically:
· Partners who support us with technical aspects, such as hosting consent forms or storing and forwarding your personal data
· Partners who support us with the on-site event management
· Our markets, who will contact you based on your country of residence (Czech, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, UK)
Your personal data will not be forwarded to any third country outside of the EU/EEA without adequate level of protection.
Legal basis for processing personal data
We base the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes on obtaining your consent when you sign up pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future you can do so by contacting our data protection officer with the contact details above or via the link provided in any mails you will receive. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until this point in time remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
We base the processing of your personal data for taking photos on legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, since our intention is to record the event as a whole and not you as an individual. Our legitimate interests are within the scope of the purposes described above. If you do not wish to appear on photos or videos, please inform the photographer and/or Brand Experience Team and do not actively pose for photos. If we want to use a photo that records you as an individual, we will ask for your consent (Art. 6(1) lit. a GDPR) in advance by providing you with all the details in the relevant declaration of consent. Storage period and deletion
The personal data collected from you for the marketing purposes will be stored for a period of 3 years. Your personal data will be deleted after this time period or if you withdraw your consent given/object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes.
The data processed will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to process said data further for the purpose of the IONIQ 9 Brand Experience.
The data will not be deleted if we or the entities that processes personal data in our name are obliged by European Law to store the personal data. In such a case the data will be deleted as soon as the obligation no longer applies.
Data subject rights
If you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data, you can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. Such a withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to your consent withdrawal.
Pursuant to applicable data protection law, you have the following rights with respect to the processing of your personal data:
· Right to access by the data subject according to Art. 15 GDPR
· Right to rectification according to Art. 16 GDPR
· Right to erasure according to Art. 17 GDPR
· Right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR
· Right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR
· Right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR
· Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR
